I want to thank everyone who participated in our Knitting for the Red, White, and Blue weekend. The goody box in the store is beginning to fill up, but still has room. My current plans are to ship the box at the end of the month. For those of you who need more time, contact me about shipping information. If anyone is interested, I have one Socks For Soldiers Medic Kit available. The cost for this kit is $50.00.

Wendy McNair’s Socks on Circular Needles class, Tuesdays October 7, 14, and 21 from 7:00-8:30pm, has two openings left. Don’t miss out on learning this great technique.

The Malibrigo Reversible Cable Scarf sample is now in the store along with the pattern. We have two openings available for this class held on Sunday October 11, from 1:00-3:30pm.

Just a friendly reminder that Knit Night is now on Thursdays from 6:00-8:30pm and we are adding an additional knitting circle on Saturdays from 1:00-4:00pm. What a wonderful way to meet fellow knitters and finish projects!

According to our October calendar, I had planned to teach the Barn Raising Quilt squares on Sunday October 5, from 1:30-3:30pm. If you are interested, please RSVP. This is a fun portable project using two pair of circular needles and beautiful Noro Silk Garden Sock Yarn.

In honor of Deb MacComber’s Knit Shop Opening last week, we will be selling her Twenty Wishes signed edition hardback books at 25% off. These will make great Christmas presents.
